Youth Music Festival at NYU

We are so excited to announce that Willan Academy will be a part of Youth Music Festival at NYU, directed by Dr. Youngmi Ha, Composition Faculty at New York University.

2016 is the second year of hosting Yout 2016 Music Festival in part of composition program events at New York University. Youth Music Festival @ NYU promotes new works writtenby NYU composers for young musicians and their teachers to explore new contemporary works. In 2015, the first concert took place in February at NYU’s Black Box Theater with 15 composers and 35 young musicians ages between 7 and 16 participated. This year, we have a special the e “Music of Life.” Concert will be held on October 15th at 7pm in Frederick Lower Theater.
