Two Student Recitals

Every student gets two performance opportunities during a semester. We believe that performance is a great way to make practice more meaningful and enjoyable. It’s an opportunity to share with everyone what students have learned!

Practice Challenge!

Practicing is the key to mastering an instrument, so we hold a “Practice Challenge” to motivate students to practice. Practice every day to earn the platinum award!

 Yung-Ai W.

Yung-Ai started her formal music training at the age of four in Taipei, Taiwan. She was accepted into one of the top music programs in her area, the Keelung Senior High School, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance at Shih Chien University. She continued her Music training with a Master in Music Performance degree at New York University Steinhardt, studying under world acclaimed Artist, Keith Underwood.

Yung-Ai was the first prize winner for multiple competitions, most notably the Taiwan National Student Competition of Music, Asia Pacific Cup International Music Competition, and the Taipei City Culture Cup Music Competition.

As a principal artist with several orchestras, she has performed at notable venues include the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Taiwan Taipei National Concert Hall, Taipei Zhong Shan Hall, and Tokyo Disneyland.

Yung-Ai seeks to inspire young musicians as a performer and music teacher. She has been teaching music lessons and performing in annual music recitals since 2010. With her former classmates, she co-founded a chamber music group, Across the Span－Taiwanese in the United States, with the goal of performing twice a year to musically represent their cross cultural experiences. She has over 8 years of experience giving piano, flute and music theory lessons. She also is certified to teach group music lessons using the Level 1 American Orff-Schulwerk Association pedagogy.
