HYE JO Y.
Hye Jo, a native of South Korea, attended Han-Sei University on full scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree as a student of Ock-Hyun Kim. Miss Yang pursued her graduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music, where she received a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance as a student of Zenon Fishbein.
Her numerous awards include the Artist International Winner of Special Presentation Awards and Winner of The Young Artists Awards in New York, as well as top honors in the Wul-Gan Music Magazine Competition, the Korean Times Piano Competition, and the KBS-TV Piano Competition in her homeland of Korea. Miss Yang has appeared worldwide as a collaborative artist in many events. She had served as a Teaching Associate with the Piano Department of the Manhattan School of Music from September 1999 to August 2013 and is a Music Director of EnoB since 2013.
ISIDORA V.
Born in New York City, Isidora began her musical studies at Third Street Music School where she studied with Marc Ponthus and then furthered her studies at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art. She attended New York University studying with Jose Ramon Mendez and Seymour Bernstein, and in 2015 graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance. Isidora has participated and performed at the Gijon International Piano Festival in Spain, International Keyboard Institute and Festival, and the Institute and Festival for Contemporary Performance at Mannes and has played in several masterclasses for artists such as Robert McDonald, Nelita True, Alexander Kobrin, James Giles, and Sara Davis Buechner. She is currently studying the Taubman Approach with Robert Durso of the Golandsky Institute.
THEO A.
Born in Greece in 1991, started piano lessons at the age of 6. Continued his studies for piano and theory at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki from where he got his Piano Diploma. He graduated from the “Music Science and Art University of Macedonia” taking his Piano Performance Bachelor Degree, with Professor Igor Petrin (graduate from the Tchaikovsky Academy of Moscow).
He has been nominated with awards in International Competitions such as the N. Skalkotta Award (2010). As a solo pianist, he participated with State Orchestra of Thessaloniki (2014), Thessaloniki’s Symphony Orchestra (2013), Symphony Orchestra of the MSA University of Macedonia (2013), as well as Sinfonietta Orchestra in Athens (2013).

Our piano classes provide students individual piano instruction with one of our school’s faculty members and customize to the specific goals, needs and aspirations of each student regardless of experience or age. At Willan Academy of Music, we provide free consultation to identify and tailor to your specific needs. Private student can participate in a variety of performance opportunities. We offer sessions for children (ages 4+) and adults. The classes for kids are 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
We understand the difficulties involved in mastering piano; therefore, we ensure that each student is taught with care and given enough time to learn and grasp each skill. This is a place for students to progressively develop their musical skills over a course of time. Talent over time we like to call it!
