Immanuel is a composer, performer, and educator from Annapolis, Maryland. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance after attending Towson University in 2017. After, he attended New York University where he received his Master’s degree in Jazz Studies/Performance in 2019. At NYU, Immanuel studied with Lenny White, Wayne Krantz, Michael Rodriguez, Billy Drewes, and more. He also began teaching private lessons to undergraduate students as an adjunct instructor.

After graduating NYU, Immanuel began teaching in DOE public schools teaching elementary and middle school as a full time music teacher for 3 years. At this job he gained a great amount of experience teaching students of all learning styles. He also gained experience creating and executing well constructed curriculums to students of all ages.

Alongside that, he is a freelance performer playing as a studio/live bassist and/or guitarist. He has traveled to Austin, Texas to perform music festivals “SXSW” and “Austin City Limits,” as well as traveled to Sweden and Berlin to perform​

Emmanuel teaches lessons in guitar/bass/piano/voice.
