A trial is available per student per teacher.
Tuition must be paid before the day of trial lesson. Tuition is not refundable.
We accept payments by debit/credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover or Amex). No checks or cash.
24 Hour Cancellation Policy. No credit is allowed for any notifications under 24 hours notice.
For sickness, a credit is allowed with 1-hour advance notice. (School may ask for doctor’s note)

Tuition and Payment Terms

Tuition is billed monthly, and invoices are due within 10 days from the invoice date.
Late payments will incur a 5% late fee on the outstanding balance per month.
Accounts with overdue balances may result in the suspension of lessons and classes.
Accepted payment methods include checks, money orders, and debit/credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express). Cash payments are not accepted.
A $35 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

Lesson Cancellation and Make-Up Policy

In-Home and Online Lessons:
- Students or parents must notify the teacher directly via email, phone, or text with at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. No make-up lessons will be provided for cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- For illness-related cancellations, a make-up lesson may be scheduled with at least 1 hour’s notice. The Academy may request a doctor’s note to verify the absence.
In-Studio Lessons:
- Students or parents must notify the Academy at info@willanacademy.com with at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations.
- Two make-up lessons are permitted annually, scheduled in January and June.
Lesson credits are non-transferable to future terms and must be used within the current school year.

Withdrawal and Refunds

Students wishing to withdraw must provide written notice to the Academy (not the teacher) at least two weeks in advance.
A full refund will be issued for any unused lessons.

Willan Academy of Music closes for snow when the New York City public schools do.
Check out on our website or call us for snow closings. Credit will be issued for snow closings.

Valid only at Willan Academy of Music.
In-home lessons are available only in Manhattan, New York.
Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
No expiration date unless otherwise specified.

Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.
