Hi! My name is Nathaniel, and I teach cello at Willan Academy of Music. I specialize in teaching students of all ages. My teaching philosophy is centered on creating healthy technical foundations and a positive relationship with the instrument to foster a love and enjoyment of all types of music that can last a lifetime.
Our lessons together will prioritize student-centered learning in a fun, safe, and judgement-free environment!

Nathaniel B.,
Nathaniel was born and raised in West Chester Pennsylvania. He has been performing in New York since 2019. He has received both his bachelor's and master's in music from the Mannes School of Music under the tutelage of Jefferey Zeigler and Yehuda Hanani. He has performed at many prestigious venues around the New York City area, such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, New York City Center, Manhattan School of Music’s Neidorff-Karpati Hall, 54-Below, and many other venues around the city. He is also an active performer in New York’s vibrant theater and chamber music community.
