Melody E.,
Hi there , my name is Melody , my musical journey started when I was very young. I always knew I wanted to become a singer. I started to audition for musical plays in my schools , did a lot of after school programs for singing , acting , dance. I’ve got the opportunity to join musical schools studying voice , music theory , sight and ear training, beginner piano , vocal performance etc all throughout college at Queensborough community College.
I was also a very productive student. I went to Lincoln Center for a summer to study voice as well as I studied in Kaufman music school for piano and voice for two years. Along with that I studied in Frank Sinatra school for Classical /opera chorus and Latin jazz ensemble. As a Hispanic music teacher now it helped me understand more about my culture music and hopefully get to share that to others well. I’ve also had my fair share of performances myself. I performed at Luses moses school , Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. My genre of music that I teach is very rounded I teach musical theater , opera, Pop , Jazz , Latin Jazz , hip pop , soul , r&b etc
I found my passion in teaching ages 4 through adults when I started working at a school called Barbizon for two years, working there really shaped my teaching styles and gave me the ability to teach multiple categories in the industry, not only I am a full-time model ,actor ,singer but teaching there really gave me that growth not only in my teaching techniques, but also my ability to teach others and other aspects of my life such a as the business side of things. So far I’ve been teaching for three years and a half now and I love every minute of it
So if you are interested in working with me, I’ll be more than happy to take you in and we can work on your journey together. I teach beginner expert Voice and beginner piano.
Melody teaches private voice and piano lessons.
