Mattia is a dynamic and versatile guitar, piano, and drum teacher originally from Slovakia, bringing a wealth of international training and professional experience to his students.
With over five years of teaching experience, Mattia has successfully instructed learners aged 6 to 60, tailoring lessons to individual goals—whether following a structured curriculum or creating fully customized plans focused on the student’s musical interests and pace. He teaches drums, piano, and guitar with equal passion and expertise.
A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston (Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing and Production, 2021–2025), where he earned a full scholarship, Mattia also holds a Diploma in Classical Percussion from the Bratislava Conservatory (2017–2021). His classical foundation combines seamlessly with his modern, jazz-influenced approach.
As a performer, Mattia has shared the stage with acclaimed musicians such as Immanuel Wilkins, AronTheBassist, Darren Barrett, Michael “Patches” Stewart, Greg Spero, Jacques Schwartz-Bart, and Francisco Mela. He is an active session musician, live performer at weddings, festivals, clubs, churches, and international events, and a Yamaha Drums Europe endorser since 2022.
In 2024, he released his debut jazz album “Laser Sights”, performing it at iconic venues including Nublu 151 and Lincoln Center in New York City. His accolades include winning the Slovak Inter-Conservatory Percussion Competition (2018) and performing at Slovakia’s largest drum festival alongside legend Gergo Borlai (2024).
