Since 2015, Willan Academy of Music has been dedicated to nurturing a lifelong love for music through personalized in-home and studio instruction. Founded by classical guitarist Kenji Haba, the Academy has spent the last ten years becoming a part of the daily lives of families across New York City.
This 10th Anniversary Concert is more than just a performance—it is a celebration of the “Willan Family” and the journey we have shared from the very first notes to the big stage.

Who’s Invited?
Families with kids (ages 4–12) curious about rabbits and music.
Description:
Hop into a musical adventure learning about rabbits! Sing B-U-N-N-Y and Head, Whiskers, Feet, and Tail, clap rhythms of rabbit foods, and move like rabbits with binkies and hops. Learn how rabbits hear sounds 5x louder and use their ears to detect predators. Meet Mister Bun puppet, practice musical dynamics, and, if permitted, meet the real Mister Bun! Wrap up with a Q&A and goodbye song.

Details: Strum a guitar, pluck a ukulele, bow a violin, or play a piano in our hands-on festival! Join a Rhythm Jam Circle, try 5–10 minute mini-lessons, and watch our current students perform.
