
Hsin-Yu C.,
Hsin-Yu is an accomplished pianist and a passionate educator based in NYC. In 2022, he received his Masters of Music degree in Piano Performance from Boston University. Born in Taiwan, Hsin-Yu actively participated in regional music competitions and was named the second prize in Yunlin County Music Competition. In 2019, Hsin-Yu was awarded a merit scholarship by Boston University. With his solid learning in the studio of Pavel Nersessian, Hsin-Yu established himself as a young pianist in NYC, developing his career in solo performance, chamber music, and piano collaboration.
Currently, Hsin-Yu is a candidate for the Piano Performance Diploma at Manhattan School of Music under the guidance of Wael Farouk. As an active and passionate educator, Hsin-Yu works with students of all ages and levels. His teaching philosophy is to help students set up a solid musical foundation and develop their potential and interest in music, enabling them to fully enjoy the music.
Hsin-Yu is currently a piano instructor at Willan Academy and Anselmo Academy of Music & the Arts in NYC. During his time in Boston, he was a piano instructor at Brimmer and May School and Boston Music Project. He also served as a piano collaborator for several choirs at Boston Latin School and the Cambridge Chinese Choral Society.
